Mar 19, 2020 Well to be fair, its a shame that we have to determine our minion behaviour with gems. Out of the most non-intuitive ways to actually influence how my minions behave, this is the worst. Besides of giving the buff, feeding frenzy feels completely dead and bland when i look at the other options i could link my minions with. Its kind of boring.

This league FF always seemed kinda off. There is barely any difference in zombie aggressiveness if you equip it or not. They barely initiate any offense by themselves. Like wtf? Last league they went way beyond my line of sight and they always ran in front of me, now they are always watching my witches ass. This gem is basically worthless tbh. ;/ Such a buggy patch and league. Damn. Última edição por M_atrix em 19 de mar de 2020 20:38:27 | Postado por M_atrix em 19 de mar de 2020 20:20:44 |
Aggressive AI should be the default. The Feeding Frenzy buff should be what the gem is used for (meaning damage could be added back to it). I was mostly fine with the minion nerfs, but the changes to this gem make no sense. There’s no point in even leveling it now. | Postado por demon9675 em 19 de mar de 2020 20:28:27 |
In the meantime i have opened a bug for it maybe they will take a look. I don't know how its connected but if I crank up the minion speed to a ludicrous degree (over +100%, basically you have to go Queens escape or Primordial chain) then I can notice an actual change when I link the gem. Maybe the target acquiring mechanism is somehow connected to movement speed? Either way when the minion speed is at that high the gem kinda becomes even more moot since they do their random dancing around so fast that even the stupidest zombie will aquire a target quickly enough to feel good. | Postado por kartacs em 19 de mar de 2020 20:55:54 |
I wonder if they inadvertently broke minion behavior when they fixed zombie chaotic behavior in 3.10? I've noticed this difference in AI. They are not hyper aggressive anymore. Última edição por Elorathiel em 19 de mar de 2020 21:18:56 | Postado por Elorathiel em 19 de mar de 2020 21:18:12 |
I guess when they imported POE2 zombie models, they somehow changed their behavior also. That's why they seem really off (and slow to react) this patch. | Postado por M_atrix em 19 de mar de 2020 21:23:41 |
If this is true, and Agrro is broken, they literally killed Necro. | Postado por ArisFuser em 19 de mar de 2020 22:32:51 |
' Yes this make sense. Anyway hope that they fix it. Non aggressive zombies on a zombie build is kind of pointless. But on the plus size delirium damage has been reduced! | Postado por solidghost em 19 de mar de 2020 23:49:32 |
- So the Feeding Frenzy buff, as of Delirium, will only affect the player. That I get but there is no description on the gem saying what that actual buff is any more. Honestly, I think most of us used it as intended. To buff our minions into a feeding frenzy to do more damage.
- 'Feeding Frenzy Support. The Feeding Frenzy support gem makes supported minions aggressive, increasing the range that they'll seek out enemies. It also gives hits from the minions a chance to give you the Feeding Frenzy buff, granting more minion damage.
