So I know they nerfed the the damage twice now (well they removed it), but it still says the minions should have aggressive ai.
I tried it with stone golems and zombies for now. Both previous leagues my 'feeling' was that they went bonkers, I mean batshit crazy compared to their usual selfs. Now I feel like it was heavily tuned down.
- Zombies go from: Literary stand right behind me fiddling around while monsters happily kick my teeth in. To: If the monster is within half a screen of me they will attack it, but they will not go 'Seek & Destroy' as I felt they did before.
- Stone golems: I feel no change whatsoever when I link the gem. Their AI already attack mobs in half a screen range without the gem, when I link the gem, nothing happens.

Can confirm a lot of spectres are idling for not apparent reason. Feels like an AI loop glitch.

Well feeding frenzy is a wasted slot now so great destroying that, but something is up with the ai, litterly zombies following me and skelies ideling

GGG just needs to let us write our own lua scripts or something similar in nature for minion ai. Having minions that will ignore monsters hitting you/them just because you walked slightly to the left is stupid and a poor way to balance.
There's no powercreep here. Creep implies it's slow and could be overlooked, this is a full out sprint.

I have no idea why would they nerf minions.
AI even when combined with feeding frenzy feels terible, at least when compared to Grim Dawn (I don't have any experience with necro class in other games).

Of course not realistic but I wish they remove summoners from the game entirely, just because it's going to be an issue forever. You can't balance passive damage, simple as that. The rest of the game is suffering just because minions exist.

Not sure if serious. You want to delete a whole timeless archetype for this genre just because: 'Too hard to balance passive damage'? Summoners aren't even a problem anymore, stop being hysterical.
It wasn't until last few seasons they had hype, before that there was always something else being pushed.
Ruining the game? How? And for who? Back it up with something real, not just some random personal thought that makes no sense.

Maybe they'll nerf skeletons. For the first time since they were added in the game.

If they still don't nerf skeletons I will finally go all in on skeletons.

I wish they give a buff on mult project support skills, projectiles lose so much damage witch supported skills :(

Mana guardians are worse and never should have lasted this long tbh, in the last 2 leagues if you invited a summoner to a trade it was 50/50 if it'd be a necro or a guardian they were pretty much the best summoners once you have a budget.
Impale shouldn't get touched pure phys took forever to get to a good state, the fact you can blow stuff away with a maxed out flicker strike build with a saviour is kinda the point of the sword (and of character development)
Nobody cares about HH really *shrug* I can fund every character I've played in the last 3 leagues off 1 HH if they want to be OP with it go right ahead.

it's what i'm saying tho. necro is just easy, and 99% of the player base prob aren't good players, thus the easiest class to play is necro. My first char ever was a necro, and i've always played a necro. Cause it's cheap, and it's easy.
What they need to do is take all the dmg from lvls and put it into gear instead. Add some minion flat dmg mods to gear, so we have to actualy invest money into gear to get strong, like any other class. But even then, non necro players will complain.
The reason people played necro this league is cause the metamorphs were strong, plus the buffed boss life. Avg players couldn't run their low defense low dps rangers and melee and do well, so they went to necro, cause it's the easiest and cheapest to play.

I would love to see Scions being relevant. I was excited when I unlocked her, only to discover she's mostly useless.

Well, after watching Baeclast on Saturday the GGG developers mentioned that they were going to nerf zoo builds and somehow equalize traps & mines. I am hoping it is a buff to traps - they did mention that throw speed is one area they might do the adjustment. They also mentioned that they did not do any ascendancy changes.
Specifically the devs mentioned that they don't want to kill the zoo builds, but to make them more gear dependent for their power.
